3M Super Spray Adhesive 90 work the best. Look to spend anywere from 16-22dollars a can. Fairly big can though. Go to your local hardware store ie:Home Depot, Lowe's etc

If you are looking for rattle can type spray cans, the 3m is probably one of the best, but if you are looking for spray type that you put into a spraygun (paint sprayer, etc.) then you should look at DAP Weldwood contact adhesives. I use the 0307 RED HHR Solvent Type Spray Grade from Weldwood, and it is probably the best adhesive I've found to date. It sprays well, and has very very HIGH Adhesion quality, so once you get the two pieces together, you are NOT getting them apart very easily.

You should be able to find the necessary items at your local upholstery supply shop. Look for Upholstery Supplies in your local yellow pages, and you should be able to find at least one good source.

Regular hardware stores may have the 3m rattle can spray adhesives though, and they're OK for some stuff, but if you want real adhesion, and permanence to your project, use something better. Always remember to spray both surfaces (example: spray the enclosure, and the back of the vinyl/carpet you will be using) and let tack up for a minute or two before adhering together.

the dap brand is definitely the strongest i've ever seen. i've used it to finish boxes, cover headliners and even glue woood together. very very strong. check out www.selectproducts.com. they carry it in 5gal containers if i remember correctly and it's like $50. to me, it's worth every cent.

I found the stuff in a spray can to be pretty much useless. If you just barely rubbed or pulled at a joint it came right off. I used a roller and weldwood contact cement and the only way I could get the carpet off part of the box was with a razor knife and a chisel.
