how do i prep plastic panles in my car so the fiberglass will make a strong bond to them. It ust wants to come off after its dry.

I'm in the same proccess. Im about to refurbish my interior. From what people have told me just take some low grit sandpaper and rough it up, or if you want, drill small holes through the piece your glassing, that will make for a good bond.

I used some stuff called "Bulldog" that comes in a spray can at auto part stores. Its a primer designed to help noncompatible paints and finishes bond. It worked well for me doing some tweeterpods on the existing sailpanels of the car. U might give it a try.
Also consider drilling small holes in the item to be glassed over if that fails, to at least give the resin something to "key" on.
