I am planning on building an amp rack behind the rear seats and just for fun and to be able to get to the wires, I was going to have it come up using a linear actuator. The only problem is that the actuators are expensive and I don't want to pay that money just for looks. I was wondering if anyone else had any ideas on how to have it raise and lower with a flip of a switch mounted up front.
BTW, I have pictures if interested

You might be able to go to a junk yard and find a motor for power windows and rig something up using that.
