Hi lads, Im building a Panda here and now theres some mystery on my way ..
Running 2 x DD Z1's and 2 x 18" Atomic APXX's 4 x NSB90's and lalala
So i built my first box few months ago, it was 16 cuft when subs in, but the subs were fitted diagonal ... got lots of negative feedback about it, so decided to rebuild the box. Same time 1 of the amps was faulty, gave out only half of the power and overheated really quick .. So sent the amp to Germany, "First Class Audio", got it back and not sure yet, but seems its OK now
So the first build hit 155.4db average with 1 faulty amp, subs diagonal and 16 cuft box
Now i built a new box, 17.4 cuft when subs in, subs like the have to be, 1 on top of the other one, both amps healthy, peaking at 68hz and the SAME score, 155.5db average its slightly hotter at the moment, but it seems i did something very wrong or i dont get it now ...

Sub enclosure seem basically a free air design I think you need a better port.

Do most Pandas have the port on left side, subs on right(if sitting in car looking out front windshield)?

Have you tried adding a large 45 degree angled piece behind the subs? I have seen a few successful walls using that layout instead of just a "box". It would also take up some volume which might help you.

This isn't a Honda.. this is a Panda.
In a Panda adding Dynamat or some other type of deadener is a MUST.

I understand where you're coming from... just making sure there's no confusion.
Pandas need mat

Have you painted or resined the inside of the box, also round all the corners on the inside of the box. Roundover the back of the holes where the speakers mount. What voltage are you running at? whats your impedance rise?
