I have meshed over the holes in the sides and then fiberglassed over that, then i dynomatted the entire back of hte car. i also welded new metal over the holes in the floor, then i spray sealed the floor using 12 cans to get a nice even coat. i dont have a pic of the hatch all done, but i put 2 layers of matting on it

you could try 3subs forward, 3 subs up in the front of the box. smaller box. 3x 6" aeroports, and adjust the length to get the best frequency for the car.

what freq. are you burping? what kind of car? how long are the ports now?

Hello.

There are inumerous factors.

The first to come is: Maybe the old box was louder (reason 1: less volume?, reason 2: different tuning?).

ok... dont give up on the powerbass amps... great amps...

there is a subsonic freq adjuster on the amp, as well as a crossover setting. with the powerbass amps... set your freq you peak at on your head unit and put on repeat.

then go to the amp, and adjust the crossover slowly, you will see the score jump when you hit your freq, also the same thing with the subsonic.
this amp will literally DIAL IN your score. one of the reasons we love these amps so much!

I will solve this for you. I see your Using 12" R's they have a mechanical limit which you probably reached. Change out to a more SPL oriented Sub. I used type R's and saped and gained 2 db off same power ans the new subs have more headroom!
