I think when the the surround would have been glued correctly to the frame, the surround wouldn't have came loose, now the glue joint just failed due to "bad" preparation.
But still nice score
Same exact thing happened to my subs. Of course DD said it was not covered under warranty and I had to pay for re-cones.

Correct, and than he can sand the frame before gluing the surround. This is pretty "easy" to do with the DD kevlar cones.

Dam.....no love for me.No one gave me any props,on only being 2tenths off on Terrys score. But its alright though.I calculated that score due to the fact of limited batts. If he had sufficent batt power,I would of given him a 162.4

I'm going to turn down my sub control from max(15) to 0 and that will at least help me with my volume/power control. Instead of maxing out my system at vol 13 ,It will level out at or around vol 30-35,so instead of 1 click at a certian power spot it will be around 3 clicks.

remember, on kenwood decks, the higher the volume, the bigger each click is. but fortunately, the preamp output don't seem to clip at the higher volumes like many other decks

i have heard about DD doubling up on the surrounds before for other competitors with surround problems. if re-gluing the surround down correctly doesn't help then i'd call DD and see what they suggest . hell of a score !!!!
