x2 terry was doing 159s in stc with panels in remove the panels gains a db or more in a crx my guess would put him at 161-162.5db with this nw setup .

Dang Terry! I know that feeling. Congrats on the number though. Hope you still can make Daytona. If not, I look forward to seeing you in Greenville for the NSPL show in April.

good job terry its a pretty damn good number for a street box
I was messin with ya,you do call it every time! you ever experience this before? twice for me,It happended with strapping my 10's also
I will never try to get 161+ again, those subs have their compression limits, lol,if I try again pop -pop surrounds,I'm going to try to glue the surround back on and get an external vol potentiometer,I need to turn it up to an exact volume to just get to 160+ db then stop.I was at 159,6 with 3 battcaps 4 amps.. so a little more power should do the trick,I have too much power with digital selected volume from the head unit

If the surround would have been glued properly, the surround itself would have split. The glue is much stronger than the surround. In the pic it looks like that the frame isn't even sanded rough before the surround was glued on, all the paint should have been sanded of before applying the glue
I think when the the surround would have been glued correctly to the frame, the surround wouldn't have came loose, now the glue joint just failed due to "bad" preparation.
But still nice score
