Im thinking about doing the big 3 and I stumbled over some knukoncept wiring on ebay for a good price. Would that wire be okay to use for the big 3?

Yes. but get the Kollossus Ultra Fleks wire...not the KLM series. KLM is copper-clad aluminum wire and smaller with less thread count. The Kollossus "ultra fleks" is Oxygen-free copper wire, and has more strands. much better wire for just a few more dollars.

it'll definitely be better than the factory wiring. definitely. The collosus is better, but the KLM is still a big wire. and you can always double up. oh hells yeah

ill just have to buy the kollosus flek wire, and use that KLM wire to power to run my amps. How flexible is that flek wire?

I used the KLM for my big 3,and interconnects for my batteries and it works great.
It is some of the better cheap 1/0 wire out there. Being that it is actually 1/0 and not just a thick sheathing with smaller wire. It will be fine for short runs like I described but stick to the better stuff for longer runs.

I agree with fred. If anything, use the cheap wire for the short runs under the hood. Use the better wire for the longer runs where the lower resistance will help the most

I use the KLM wire and it works fine, its just not very flexible. Its good wire but I wish I would have just bought their colossus wire. either way knu makes awesome stuff.

Whats difference with that copper klad alluminum? Isnt just plain copper the best or what? What terminals are you guys using for the 0 gauge wire?

CCAW is not as good of a conductor, and therefore has higher resistance/foot. That translates to more runs of wire needed to equal the same smaller voltage-drop to the amp when high current is needed

I fine copper wire is much better to use on the long run but clad alumimum isn't too great as copper. I do like like Knu products because i had use it before and was satisfy but my money would still go on Kicker or Rockford.
