^

I've done something similar to that with 4 20.1s

Toby Newton has 4 amps stacked in his mountaineer also I think

You can use bolts like that or even all thread works

i like using allthread, with lots of nuts, and some sort of sheath over the allthread between the amps and bolts.
You kind of have to get creative depending on the actual mounting feet of your amps.

i maybe wrong here but i was taught not to use any sort of conductor to mount amps together since they could draw ground through the metal conductor through the amp case to the board. is this right????

I've never heard that but I guess it would be possible?

But whats the difference in doing that or just mounting to metal in the car?

thats true of some amps.

for instance, the xx goliaths and the mm4000's could not have thier cases grounded.

the cases couldnt touch ground, and they couldnt touch each other either.

when i had the mm's in the nissan, i had a piece of cardboard wrapped in electrical tape, squeezed between the two of them, to keep them from touching.

but for most amps, it is ok for the case to be mounted to metal or grounded or touching another amp.
