I am startin on a new box and am trying to figure out the layout that i want for my port and sub. I am putting it in the back of a '93 dakota ext cab i was thinking both forward but i have heard a lot of people talk about sub up port back but i dont think this will achieve the same thing as in a car. can any one tell me why they say up and back and does any one has any ideas about the best configuration?

I know in competition, port up seems to work the best. In USACi they run alot of S-10s and they all have the port up.
