ported of course. Sure, that amp has potential to blow those subs. You could blow those subs on a 400W amp if you were volume and gain crazy. be reasonable with control and you could be just fine.

what coils are on the woofers?

Dual 4 ohm? Single 4? Dual 2? Single 2?

Not sure what coil options kicker offers on the CVR

that amp isn't a 2ch. it's a 1ohm mono amp. It just happens to have two + and two - speaker connections that are internally paralleled. connect the positives on each speaker together, and the negatives together, and run them to + and - on the amp. do the same thing with the other speakers, but run them to the OTHER + and - on the amp

okay so let me make sure i got this right.... on one speaker i 2 positives and 2 negatives. i connect the 2 positives and run it to the connector on the box and then connect the two negatives and run them to the connector on the box.... and then do the same on the other speaker... and then just hook up each speaker to each plug on the amp????

is it one of these #1 http://www.crutchfield.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?imageID=

just do it this way. on that website, look at the TWO SUBS, 2-ch amp....then (2 DVC 4-ohm sub). wire it just like that. but understand that inside the amp, it's taking both 2ohm loads and paralleling it again internally to a single final 1ohm impedance.

x2.

Or go to a shop and pay few bucks and get them to show you how to wire woofers in series and parallel and explain impedence/resistance or ohms law for you.

This isn't a classified section. Either help the original poster, or leave. Don't offer to sell him something.

try 2cf with a single 6" aeroport at full length, or maybe three 4" at full length.
