Quick question and thx in adv for anyone that does this on a regular basis who can help. When cutting a dash for a monitor with buttons on the front, removing the front trim from the screen, after 4040ing the monitor bezel , or bondoing to the cutout, how do you keep from building up obstructive filler or primer into the button holes after taking the housing apart and joining/sanding the near finished assembly so the buttons slide right back in and are unobstructed by excess material? Thanks for any input, I see people do it all the time, but haven't really messed much myself and was wondering the right way to ensure no button clearance issues while maintaining proper fill and smoothness around the area. Thanks again..

Tape over the holes so the filler only gets on the area surrounding the holes. This will save alot of time and headaches.... especially if you got fat fingers like me. Posts: 110 | From: GA | Registered: Apr 2005
