this is for a 2004 electra glide harley. didn't come with the Harmon Kardon setup, but he wants to add one. the bike has the controlls by the grips. can any head unit work? and how can the controls be linked to the non HK/harley head unit?

Peripheral makes a steering wheel control interface that works with harly davidsons. Either you have to use a little eye and the remote from the new deck to program it or they also make alpine, kenwood, eclipse, etc. direct conect ones. You still have to go through some programing to set it up.
