If anyone has any ideas for a sub box for a 2004 Tacoma, I'm all ears. I'd like to retain the use of the back seat.

Have a local shop make you something (if cost is not an option). You can fit 2 10's in that same area sealed with different brand's of subs that require a lot less air space.
