Hi all, complete noob here.
I made this box

 -

BUUUTT I only have this audiobahn awt10x (10 incher) that recommends this box

Ported AWT10X Recommended box specs
from http://www.audiobahn.com/tech/2002/Box%20specs/Audiobahn2002boxspecs.pdf
Air Space 1.6^3
Port Size (1)4x12.5
Port Vel 15.16%
-3dB 30.7Hz
Tune Freq 37Hz
Sub Disp. 0.3
Port Disp 0.09
Total Vol. 2.0^3

I think the port is ok and stuff, buuttt I know that the box has waaay to much volume. What can I do? I was thinking about putting some like foam padding or something inside the little "pocket" where the 10.5 and 12 inch arrows point. To drop the volume down, buuuutt what does that do? Will it "soak up" all the vibration from the speaker?

If you guys could give me some options OTHER THEN making a new box (im out of $) that would help tons! THANKS!

lots of volume is fine. Try it and see how it sounds first.
