I wanted to buy a 15"XXX in a snailshell but i cannot get the box to fit. I have enough room in the trunk, but the opening is awkward shaped wont allow he box inside. I was thinking that maybe i could construct part of the enclosure outside of the car and he rest inside. This would mean carpeting it inside, and the box would not come out. Any tips/advise i would appreciate it!

do it the whiteboy way, take it to the shop and have them make you a custom box, then pay about 150 for it lol

how off is it? What would it be hung up on? Something trimmable? If it's just a few /16'ths of an inch off...sand the box down.

or you can do it the ogiggy way [Wink]

thats how i built my enclosure for my blaze. (yeah yeah.. you're all thinking. "blazer.. plenty of room).. well trying to get 10cubes for 2 15s and keep it behind the seats and under the windows wasn't easy.. that's why i built the whole thing IN the truck.

it was removed the iggy way also.. lol unfortunately, nothing was salvagable out of 3 sheets of 3/4" MDF. oh well i've moved on to better. wall + fiberglass = purday & loud
