sandblast the rear part of the plexi panel, and put your light source behind it. -------------------- One of my Moderator Forum treasures.... http://www.spac3d.com/file.html

sounded like you didnt want to see thru it. but since you want to see thru it, just drill into the plexi (not all the way thru) and mount a couple led's, it will make the plexi glow.

so if you want it see through, what exactly are you going to be "seeing"? the roof of your car? and you could use a medium grit sandpaper, but its not going to look as nice as if you would have sandblasted it. you can pick up a cheap sandblaster for 15.00, just borrow a compressor from someone and do it right. -------------------- One of my Moderator Forum treasures.... http://www.spac3d.com/file.html

ok, you arent telling us how big the overall piece is. what i would do is this... cut out the section of your headliner where you are going to mount the piece, however, cut the headliner about 1" smaller on each side of the diamond. start with 8 hyperbrite leds, and put 2 in each corner of the diamond. if its not bright enough, pick up another pack of hyperbrites, and put 1 LED in each long section of the diamond. I would also recommend spraying the open area of your roof with some black fleckstone, or hell, even use some spray truck bed liner. that way it doesnt look like you have a massive hole in your headliner. -------------------- One of my Moderator Forum treasures.... http://www.spac3d.com/file.html

you need it to be "frosted" to capture the light since there is no edge to light.reverse your image so the surrounded area will light and the "wolf"will be clear.good luck jay
