has anyone had any succcess installing subs in this car, i'm about to start on one and was looking for some ideas, i'm thinking on a single 10" in the center behind the factory 8" grilles(can't be visible), any ideas, i remember a post a while back on this but can't find it. ideas?

how about a bandpass system where there is a single 12 in the trunk and the port comes up behind that eight grill, that way you can achieve more output than a single ten behind it.

i work at a body shop in IL where we rebuild and cut up and sell vipers...we have about 20 totals in the back now...thing is..we get a few of them with 8s installed in the center factory location and they sound like ass...i have 2 of them panels in the works rite now..that im remolding into actual ported enclosures...is your a coup? or conv?

have you tried an open face compound bandpass for 2 8"s in the stock location? kind of old skool style...

for stealth -- removable grill over the face of the stock location...to conceal a little plexi with the stock paint behind [Wink]

they sound good with some decent output. one concern may be the location being so close to the listener?
