Both my amp's mounting brackets broke off so I'm looking for other alternatives to mount them. I want something secure, but I don't really want to spend alot of time on it. So if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I assume your amp has those plastic mounting feet that are removable? If so, just go to Home Depot and get some 1/4" steel stock. Cut off a small piece, drill a hole, use the screw from the removable feet to secure it to the amp, drill a hole on the other end and use that hole to attach it to your amp rack.

If the feet were not removable and you just broke off the tabs from the heatsink---good luck. (You could always fiberglass some feet on there--but it would probably look like ass).

Cool, thanks. They are the plastic kind, but I'm not sure if they have the screw mounting point. If they do I'll definitely do that. If not I was think of possibly using velco all along the back, although I don't know if it would hold.

?

Anyways, thanks for the good idea. I went to homedepot and got some flat metal brackets and attached them to where the amps mounting brackets used to be. It turns out they were screwed in so I got lucky.
