What do you mean by "blueprints"? Do you mean how big to make each side of the enclosure? Or just how much volume, port length/width needed?

If you want the former, you need to give us the vehicle at a minimum. Even more we need to know how much power you have, what music you listen to, your goals (pure SPL, SQ, or whatever), how much room you have to give an enclosure, etc.

Help us, help you.

what do you think blueprints mean blueprints are illustrations on each and every detail of a project be it a house a car or an enclosure

but andy is right that we would need to know the maximum minimum amount of space

sorry about the rant there andy i dont mean anything by it i read blueprints everyday so sorry about that

Technically i would not use blueprint in terms of enclosure building. I would call it more a technical drawing which would also include cut sheets and material breakdown. Just my .02 cents [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin]

But anyway joking aside you need to provide us with a couple details like max. width, max. height, output goals, how much of your trunk or hatch are you willing to sacrifice, etc, etc..... [Wink]

Well I did forget about all that sorry. What im doing is building a box for a home theatere. Im basically coping an idea I once seen. Its a vented box design that when done the woofer and vent both face the floor. It will look like just a big oak end table but with a 15" woofer in it. I have all the specs for the 15W0 if that helps. Im sure all of you already have them though.

http://www.jlaudio.com/subwoofers/pdfs/10_12_15W0_MAN.pdf

What I ment by blueprints is box size, vent size (depth/heighth)stuff that I will need to know. I work in a cabinet shop so building it is easy for me. I just dont kow the vented stuff. If it was sealed no problem. Im also needing help with another box. Its for 2 kicker S12l74 subs in a CRX. Both woofers facing up with vent facing back

ok check out this site, very helpful, gives you a calculater for multi round or rectangle vent enclosures http://audiogrid.com/audio/ i also use a single 15 in my home, its in believe it or not 5.2 cubes. it hits harder than most cars tuned at around 35hz. the reason so low is so there is no resonance on higher freq. and boy howdy does it drop. if you want to down fire, make sure the woofer and vent are at least 3.5 to 4 in. off the ground, hope that helps, please reply, like to hear hoe it turned out.
