I have a 2004 Denali. I want to add a pair of subs for some extra base. I have just purchased the PAC C2A-GM24 Amplifier Interface. I know that it hooks in between the stock headunit and the Bose amp. I need to know how to get to the Bose Amplifier. I am pretty sure it is in the console but I am not sure how to get it apart.

Thanks,
llknowlesll

the amp is in the center console, the bottom rear, the gm24 is add on behind the radio, so no need to go to the amp. you can take the rear of the console off to access the amp if you need to.

To get the whole console out, start by removing the seats, (no shiet) then the cup holders, instrument cluster bezel, changer bezel, indo the 4 7mm screws within the changer area, the cup area has a bolt and there are some others.

another thing, that piece uses voltage sensing for the amp turn on, at low volumes the amp turn on signal goes out, and your after market unit turns off, be careful with that.

I can pretty much tell you everything about a denali 04 you need to know, I have one that has everything going on it, air bags, lambo doors, audio, video, vip seating, crap here crap there...

i will get you some pics... [Roll Eyes]

I dont want to take the whole console out I just need to get to the amp. The easiest way to do it is to take the back of the console off? How do I get the back off?

Thanks,
llknowlesll
