How would one go about hooking up stereo level inputs (high-level inputs). Do you just tap into the speaker +/- and hook up the correct wires to he wires coming from the amp. I got a guy that wants some subs, but not an aftermarket deck.

I was thinking about useing a line output converter, to hook it up to an RCA. Is anything else needed to do this?

y athats exactly how ya instal them.....
you can either buy a high-low level converter and then run RCAs to the amp or if the amp has highlevel inputs those are the easiest... just run some wires from your rear speakers....

what kind of vehicle is it?
it could have a factory amp so you have to tap the speaker wires after the amp not the stereo. if it has onstar or a door chime they will be extremly loud when activated

Mustang Mach1, I think it's an '05. I'm accually asking because my buddy was installing it for a guy at his work. He didn't know how to do it, so he took it to futureshop to get it done the "right way". They charged him 300$ Canadian just to install them, not to run power or anything, so I was wondering why it was so much. I'm sure I could have done it for cheaper.
