i just got a new amp and i was told it was 1ohm stable turns out it is only 2ohm stable and i was wondering how i could hook up 4(svc)4ohm 12" to it and keep it at or above a 2ohm impedence the amp is a kx600.1 the subs are kicker comps

You can do a 4 ohm mono load.

Wire like this:

 -

Your subs will be getting ~300 watts total, (meaning 75 watts per subwoofer)

just out of curiosity is there another way to wire them that would put them at a lower ohm but still stay above 2ohm

With a mono amp, you have the choice of 1 ohm, 4 ohm, or 16 ohm.

Start a post in the amplifier section and see if anyone has run your amp at 1 ohm and the effect of doing so. It might be stable there with music.

it was wired to 1ohm it would cut off at upper volume levels and that fixed it when i wired it to 4 ohm but i will post one there any ways to see what people say about it

you start at 1 ohm, but as you increase the volume, the impedence rises to a certain point, then drops shorty, then back up... the big problem is normally when you first start the amp ive noticed, other wise it is more of just a power draw...
