I have a honda accord 95. That I will be selling soon.I would like to get the roof mount recevier off the car. But it is like 30 degrees her in Montana. The wire is under the molding,I was think of useing a heatgun. I also thought of just buying a new roof recevier. In stead of going to a shop and paying them to do it.
I think they would charge me more then it cost to buy a new one.

Can you in stall them inside a car on the dash? I was going to put it in a 01 isuzu rodeo.

im assuming you mean the antenna not the receiver.. if so it should be held on by a magnet, though often the will stick ive found...

as for inside.. yes you can, but dont expect reception to be that great...

The antenna should be just held on with a magnet so just lift carefully (the magnets are pretty strong) and for the wire: yes, use a heat gun to make the molding more plyable or you will crack it in the cold.

For using it inside, I have mine mounted inside on my rear deck. I have limo tint and it still works fine. The window you put it near has to have a slat to it (like your windshield) and it should work fine.

Basically just set it on the dash and see if it works. It it does, then find someway to secure it because it will slide all over if you don't.
