Ok. Parallel is when it gos down in ohms right?...Im getting a 12" dual 4ohm V.C. sub. We'll say its a 500x1 at 2 ohm amp. In Parallel , Will each coil from the sub get 500watts, or will the power be split between the two voice coils on that sub. 250watt.....

Run a wire from the + on one coil to the + on the other to the + on the amp. Same for -'s. That is parallel. You are correct that parallel will give you an overall 2 ohm load at the amp. Now the amp sees 2 ohms and puts out 500 watts. It can't do anymore than that regardless of how many speakers you use to get that 2 ohm load, so the power is split with 250 going to each coil. Sounds like you are well on your way!
