If anyone has installed Car Audio in a 1989 Toyota Camry, I'd greatly appreciate some help.
I was wondering if it was possible to get to the front speakers.

Man you do nead some help! Yes you can get to them. You will probley have to take off the whole dash to get to em though. Look for screws under the dash and try to take it off. If that does not work then go to a local auto zone and buy a book for your car that shows how everything works and it will show you. If you still need help e-mail me @

While we are on camry's, is there any decent sized openings in the firewall where I can run power cables through?

I've looked but haven't found any. The car is a 97.

Thanks.

Look around on the firewall for plugged wire holes, they look like a 2 inch round plastic/rubber black thing. My 2000 Accord has like 3 unused grommets that wire can go through. If your car doesn't have any, you may have to drill a hole and put in a grommet. Do a good job and you won't void warranty if they can't tell.
