My midbass is pretty good, orion HCCA 6s components on a 220x2 alpine 2 channel amp. (MRV-T757). And if i tune my 9515 to like 36hz, and in like 8 cubic feet ported with 100sq in of port, i should still be able to have a good amount of sq right?

With that much enclosure volume and port area, I wouldn't be surprised if the sound quality suffered a little in comparison to smaller enclosures. That is really a large box. If you want sound quality, try something a little smaller, like 5 cubes tuned to 35 Hz.

My best sounding box with the dd9515 was 4 cubes tuned to 35hz with only 25sq" of port.. lost quite a bit of output over the bigger boxes but sounded better.

I should add that my suggestion for enclosure was for a combination SQ/SPL box. If you want strictly sound quality, RWAudio's suggestion is better. I have my 9515 in 3.8 cubes tuned to 36 Hz with 36 in^2 of port and it sounds great.
