First off all, trash the Pyramid crossover, and use the built in one in the amp. What kind of box are the subs in? Put them in a large ported box, like 2.5 ft^3 tuned to 35 Hz.

You may want to look into getting a bigger amp.
800a2, 1000a2 or bd1000. Even a 500a2 will double your power.
That 250a2 may hit hard but it is only 250 watts bridged at 4 ohms. I believe the he2 rms rating is 400 each. You also might try using the largest sealed box RF recommends. I don't care for ported boxes but that is another option.

Another option with the gear you already have (I agree, Pyramid should go) is to turn your RF gain to 0. Then, turn your HU volume up to the max level that you listen to. Then slowly start to turn the gain on the RF up until you hear distortion. Once you hear distortion, turn it back until the distortion is gone. That should give you max boom for that amp and system set-up.

I also agree, a bigger amp will help, but that may not be an option for your budget (don't know). Either way, good luck .

That amp will do about 400-450 bridged into 4 ohms. Its quite underrated. Ber's advice is great, do that first. But I think a new enclosure may be in order. A large sealed box will not give you near the output of a large ported box.

In your dreams. I am quite familiar with RF amps. That 250a2 may be good for one sub. He wants more deep bass and more hard hitting bass. I say get at least another 250a2 or a 500a2 for both. That should net at minimum a 3 db gain.
The pyramid xover could be part of the problem though. The xover on the amp is better. Ever heard of ebay? Take the pyramid there.

I have sampled a fairly good size of 250a2 birth certificates, and none of them were below 400. That is with 14.5 volts in, with a 2 ohm load on each channel, same as 4 ohm bridged. I am not saying I am not wrong, I very well could be, but is RF lying or what?
