A couple I like Eclipse ECD-510 - I loved the gloss black face and Vacuum flourescent display, digital output makes it perfect. (If anyone has one and is willing to sell let me know)
Pioneer ODR - Gorgeous Deck, the whole system can do anything you want
The Nak HUs aren't exactly my cup of tea when it comes to styling, but I appreciate a deck that doesn't clutter everything up with unused functions, and just gets down to business.

I also like the older Eclipse units. The 7909 was a hot deck. I'm not a Nak fan either. My all time fav was the RFX-8140 from Rockford. It utilized 17V balanced and 8.5V RCA outputs. The thing is as clean as my Grandmas kitchen floor. (very clean). Ugly as hell but a killer unit! What about that $10,000 sony about 6 yrs ago or so?

I would have to add two units to thi list. First of all my old Alpine 7915 to that short list of Head Units. I absolutely loved it. Awesome DAC's, great anti-skipping, especially because of how old it was, pretty good line output power, and beautiful cosmetics. And the other one would be the Clarion Pro Audio 7770. It seemed like for a while back in the early 90's that you weren't allowed to win in USAC unless you were running this HU, US Amps amplifiers, and Kicker speakers...j/k. I love the button layout, the dsplay, the motorization, and the zero bit muting circuitry. Absoultely loved it. Don't know why I sold either of this two units...what was I thinking?

Sorry to interrupt this post with a commercial, but I know someone who has both a Nak CD700 and a Clarion DRX 9255 for sale. These are both NIB. E-Mail me if interested. BTW I loved my Alpine 7914. Great unit for 1/2 volt. I am now using a 5303R/2301....for now. I'm waiting for the 55090 to come out.

Mo Bass: I own the 9675 (bought it as soon as it came out, I have had it for about 4 weeks now) and it is a nice deck. Does everything I need it to do and a whole lot more and sounds fantastic as well.

WOW, this thread is OLD!! Nobody shoot me for makin' it new again, but I just wanted to add my two cents and say, I still HAVE my Eclipse ECD-410. I loved it then and still love it.
And to update a bit, I like the new JVC touch screens. My buddy has one in his truck, a KD-AVX44J. I'm likin' it a lot.
It's time to upgrade for my car, but the old Eclipse will go nicely in my Jeep!!
