Then I would dump the capacitor and get an extra deep cycle battery (Powermaster/Kinetik) both are good. There will however be several differences of opinion on this when it comes to caps.
I prefer not to use them as I found them to be an added link in the chain of direct current that seems to draw and use more then they replenish, this is my findings and others may disagree.

An added battery in the back of the vehicle will add much longer support to your vehicle's electricity then a cap. Just my opinion though [Smile]

here are some pics its changed up a bit now but i havent taken any new ones as yet though, now if i take out the cap and install another battery that would increase my power but wouldnt it cause more of a drain? cause my alternator is factory and that would cause it to work twice as hard wouldnt it? Warlord was tellin to change my grounds to a bigger wire and i have and i used to get the dimming in my lights at night but since i changed the ground from my tranny to the body i could barely see it dim and im goin to change the ground from the battery and ive also seen a increase in power (the power coming into my cap)

What Screechie said, it's cheap it's pretty easy and will help 100% in the flow of direct current!

What battery do you have under the hood? I would start with the big three as already stated but I would keep the cap(some SQ rules give you a point for having it). Post a pic of under the hood for further assistance.
