Does that include install or just equipment? Install will cost you more than equipment in a properly done SQ setup. Even if you do the work yourself.

"Very good SQ system" for $6m including install? What are you looking for? Front stage only + sub in trunk? That's basically what I run - I've got some ideas, but need to know what you're looking for.... Martin

Do you have the skill to do finished fiberglass work? access to multi-axis cnc machines for complex 3D woodwork? Do you work somewhere that you get great pricing on damping materials?

Front stage. Best you can find. Trust your ears. I'd do a 3 way. Amplifiers: good Amps with as big power as you can afford Processor--flexible. As flexible as you can get HU: Make sure it works with the processor. subwoofer--honeslty I wouldn't spent more than $100-$150.00 on a subwoofer. It will likely only play from about 20hz to 40hz anyway. The enclosure will mean so much more than the actual sub. Just something good will work.
Amplifiers: 1. genesis series 3 if the money is there, profile line if you need to save some money. 2. Audison 3. Zapco 4. Alpine PDX
Headunits: 1. Eclipse 7200MKii if you can't afford anymore processing and it is flexible enough. 2. Alpine with a digital out.
Processors: 1. Alpine H701
Subs: really doesn't matter that much. Just don't do some SPL sub. With your car, I'd look at something I could do free-air with. FI makes some good subs that you can free-air. I'd use the Fi-Q in a heartbeat in a system.

I have a competition SQ system that has done quite well. It doesn't have one piece of fiberglass in it, and no multi-axis cnc machine was used at all.

I'm diggin' it. In a way it's a shame you had to make the custom doubledin kit for the Altima. Bestkits now make two. One only works for manual climate controls, the other works for single or doubledin, and either climate control style. Came out around november and I bought one for my brother's 08 Altima. But the Alpine definitely looks great in there.
That damping material sure adds up quick doesn't it? Looks like you had a few hundred feet in there. I spend about 45minutes every night doing that to my MX-3 after we close at the shop. 2 layers in one door, and two layers on the passenger side floor so far. LOTS more work to go.
