Honestly, Audio Control has nothing that is flexible enough. Just stay away from them.
if you don't need your midrange to go below 250hz, then the P9 setup is easily the best setup out there (except for F#1--but it is very expensive).
If you are going back to a cone midrange driver, I would do the Alpine HU and 701 processor. For the Alpine HU you need something with a digital out. That means a screen or a 9861 if you want new.
You want everything to be as flexible as possible. I'm not sure if you are running passive or not--but if you are--get rid of the passives and go active on every speaker. You seemed to have the battery power to supply an extra amp .

What i'm thinking is I can run tweeters off of front of the 4 channel, midrange on the rear.
I'm going to buy another 4 channel and run my midbass on the front channels and when I put my sub up front I can run it bridged on the rear 2 channels good idea?
Also who builds a good eq? What companies should I look at?

Money no object in car audio--I would look at the Alpine F#1. It will cost you though.
Money no object at all--DEQX--but it is a bish to set up and get everything working. Not something I would be willing to do--unless you also had the time/money to hire someone like JK Labs to do extensive modifications to it.
Both of these units have eq/crossover built into one package.

^Good point. With that said, you can also look a the new Pioneer ODR stuff that is available overseas. You can have it imported, but you better bring 2 credit cards.

Do the Alpine. It is much more flexible than the Eclipse piece. Cost wise it is hard to beat. At dealer cost you are looking at less than a grand for the pair.

You can go aux into the Pioneer if you want to add an ipod or mp3 player. I think the Pioneer sounds better than the Alpine gear.

Changer controls, yes. Can add DVD changer to watch movies...pretty sure that's how Steve Cornell had the Pioneer set up in his old Impala.

The owner's manual should be online if you want to double check the DVD-changer thing, but I could have sworn that's how Steve had his. And the IPod input is just an IP-Bus cable to RCA adapter.
