Would appreciate some help here - would like to try to install ib subs in the front doors (Hybrid Audio's new 8")and according to the web, a simple baffle will suffice.
Having never tried ib up front, I'm finding it hard to differentiate between what the difference is between having a sealed door (in other words a sealed enclosure)or mounted on a baffle and my question is..is ib in the door really more or the less the same as placing the driver in the door where the door skin is in fact a sealed enclosure ?
many thanks,
Sammy

Depends on how big your doors are. To be considered IB, the space has to be at least 3 times the VAS. Winslow will correct me on that if I'm wrong.
