I'm not real up on the F#1 stuff (so far out of my price range that I haven't really read up on it), but I believe there are 2 different versions of it. Which model do you have?

Might as well tell you since I can't buy it
The processor alone retals for over $5k, I've seen used go in a matter of hours on ebay for over $2k...just the processor, don't know about the head unit.
I would offer $2000 for both units, if I had the cash, without even researching the hu.
Where are they? Still have them?

To use the F1 HU you have to have either the F1 D/A converter or the F1 processor. If memory serves the HU with the processor retails at $5,000. I believe the HU with the converter retails around $3,ooo.
You've got the HU and TWO processors? Do you know what year they were manufactured/sold? In my opinion that's THE best control available. With 2 of those processors you could go all active on just about any design you come up with.

That's the latest version of the F#1, so it had to have been made this year or mid last year.

I have this very setup. I picked up the HU for $1800. Picked up one proc for $2200 and the other for $2000. Off ebay, and Brand new.
I have 16 chasnnels of output to play with, although 4 or for center channel, front and back, and 2 channels for subs.
I'm running the F#1 three ways in front, F#1 2 ways for center channel. The TMI 990 monitor. Dynaudio system 240 gt for rear fill, and the dyn MD100 tweets up in the A-pillar. And one JL Audio 10W6 v2. Three PDX-4.150'S AND a 1.1000.
It sounds AWRSOME, and I haven't even tuned it yet.
So, if you are looking for what it's worth. I'd say they keep their value. This is Alpine's best stuff. Kind of like how high end home theater doesn't lose much value, niether will the F#1 system.

I love it! The PDX are Alpine amps, @150Watts/channel. Except the 1000W sub amp. SO far there is nothing I can't do with them. Time correction, 1/3oct EQ for each channel. Yeah, that comes out to 396bands I get to play with for my setup. Which is Three ways up front. Plus, secondary set of tweets in the A-pillar for imaging, and a two way for the center channel. Plus a Sub, and passive setup two ways for the rear fill.
It was finished only a week or so ago, so I'm still paying... and I have A GREAT deal of playing left. I feel like I'll never be finished. But, I keep plugging along. One of these days, after things have calmed down (new baby a week ago, death this past weekend, so it's kinda busy) I need to sit down with the RTA, and hope I can figure it out.
Thanks goodness for pros, as I've gotten a great deal of help from the installs, and friends of the shop. I can't imagine doing this on my own.
