well i had to replace a pair of tweeters the other day, (they died) so i poked around in the doors and the kicks while i had the door panels off. and i don't think those Veritas midbass are going to fit in the kicks without some serious (read expensive) work. had a good look at those Veritas midbass drivers while they were out, geez they are nice drivers! they have a super light fiberglass cone, and build quality is top notch. now, i just have to find a place to put them. oh, one more thing. i did some measuring in the doors and it is about 3.25inch from the metal door panel to the window when it is rolled down. it does go down to about 3 inches flat at either extremes with the lager dimension in the middle. any more ideas? thanks in advance.

well i was at one of our local shops yesterday (i used to work at this establishment) and they have a new line of speakers and amps. the speakers are called Hertz and the amps are Audison. they are made in Italy, and i had the chance to listen to some. wow, very nice sounding drivers. they also have a super shallow line that would work in my doors! neo mags and similar technology to Illusion audio and critical mass with the motor mounted in front of the cone. this may be the answer to my problems. only thing is they are quite pricy...
