How would y'all rate the TREO Engineering SSI 12.44's for SQ ???

not like a dynaudio, but they aren't bad. for a daily rattle your teeth, ground pounder that still sounds good, awesome. hit tight and deep and can hear note changes. without equalization, in car response is too strong on the bottom end for pure sq imo.

Good, that's what I wanted too know. I'm going for a all around dailly driver system. I want a good sounding, loud system. You can see in my sig what I'm currently running. So do y'all think replacing the single 12" L7 with a pair of SSI 12.44's in a sealed box will make a big difference ?? Also planning on adding a http://www.clarion.com/usa/products/processors/MCD360.html for fine tunning.

you can get some pretty beefy gains with a ported over a sealed. so i can't solidly comment on louder or not. but i would speculate you should be at least as loud, if not a little louder. imo, the ssi's will sound better though.
additionally, i'm a fan of the made in usa products vs orient made stuff.

The L7 sounds good at lower volume levels, but sounds like crap when turned up.

My TREO plans are on hold. Bills have been hella high, and just can't manage too put any $$ in savings.
