I have the ps2 connector for the back of the RF 8250 deck and neutrik xlr connectors for the Eq. I need to know where to get good cables to use for the balanced line inbetween. I had cat5 but they are like 30ga. and they suck. so what is a good cable with 6 total wires in a good noise rejectin casing?
thanks

The twisted pair in CAT 5 should be good for noise rejection. What was wrong with the cable? There are some CAT five cables that use stranded conductors and I have seen wire sizes up to 24 gauge. You don't have to stick with CAT 5 though. There are several cables out there that have twisted pair conductors. Some have shields over each pair and an overall but I have had good luck (not in this particular application - but in general) with the unshielded just using the twiated pairs for the noise rejection.

Zapco symbylink works great. 8250 perfect mate for epx 2 as well. You can use ps2 but symbylinks deeper lip and makes better connction.
