First off Its all in a 94 Ranger. Currently I have a Exact 5.3 component set in my kickpanels. I want to add some more midbass. I was thinking about enlarging the factory cutout in the doors and mounting a pair of Exact 6 1/2's in each door. Or I have a q- form door pod for Rangers that goes on the lower part of the door and can hold a couple 6 1/2's. Were would be the best place to mount them? Anyone had any experience with Soundstream Exact speakers?

Thanks

I have some experience with them. Get them in as low and as far forward in your doors as you can. If your going to do 2 in each door, build an enclosure behind them, them do them ISO- side by side, you'll be impressed with the sound.

STILL waiting to hear a GOOD pair of HLCD's!!

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

The bigger the box, the lower it will resonate. I'd try to get about .25 F3 in box space..
