The question is : 1. How do they sound - and why aren't more people using them for dynamics?!? 2. What would happen if you ran a pair of 4 ohm mids in parallel - thereby bringing their impedance down to 2 ohms?
Thanks for any replies

You can bridge the 4 ohm version on the amp which yields a 2ohms. but...just get the 2 ohms version so you don't have to do that. I Would keep the componets 4 ohm though and only bridge the midbass if running a 3 way setup. The 4 ohm componet set get plenty loud and stay accurate at high volumes.

My sig > nak cd 700>zapco sx-sl>slx4>Brax 2400/Brax 1000 to Focal 136ks I wanted to remove the tweets and use horns - I personally like the focal mids - but thought the 2 ohm driver would give me even more headroom - since I would run the Brax at 2x400. This is why I am asking the question. I want to do horns and mids and JL IB4 8s in the doors - I also have a single JL 13 w7 powered by a Zapco 9.0 (4 ohm version) Any suggestions would be appreciated.
