Topic: Attn:"Iboomalot" SQ in DDs
I need you to give me some ideas for DD in a SQ application. I think of running two 9500's or 9000's in a ported box I'd like 2 individual boxes and just have them lined up as one. I am trying to decide which amp I would like to use. I was thinking DEI 1100d or maybe strapping 2 at 1 ohm. Which ever one you think is better let me know. I think 5 cubes or less. Thanks, Jamarr

im not iboomalot but id go for 4 cubes after disp. with like around 40 sq inches of port... maybe less depending on the power u give it and the tuning. so ur saying using 2 1100 dei's for both subs??? if so id find some 9000 series.

Might need a touch more port area than that...even with 1100w each, air speed in the port is kinda high. Vb is good though...31hz tuning predicts only 0.5 db of ripple from 31.5hz to 80hz, and an F3 of 30hz or so. Good box. -------------------- Peace, Love, Bass.

Jamarr, you may need to put this post in the general forum for him to see it. I'm not sure he wonders in here to much. Andy -------------------- Team FTGIncriminator Audio Powerbass
