This would be a great time to learn more about the one thing we all like to do... Here at Image Dynamics we will be tunning cars into the night if you need help just please ask and I'm sure that Eric / Matt / or Fred can help you with your car...
Here is a word from Paul...
Greetings IASCA Member.
As a current member of IASCA, you are welcomed to join us for the first ever open IASCA World Finals Competition. The Finals Competition will be held the same location as it was last year; The Merchandise Mart, 2500 East Independence Blvd. in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a great venue and a cool city to host the Finals. We hope you can join us for this very important IASCA event. We will be holding an IASCA Competitor meeting Friday night where you will be able to meet the judges, discuss the competition and most importantly talk about the new direction of this association. The meeting location will be announced in your competitor information packet mailed to you after you register to compete.
Much is happening at IASCA and it’s all very exciting. I thank you for your continued support as a competitor and thank those of you who have e-mailed and called with their ideas; some of which have led to some common sense adjustments to be implemented as we establish our new direction. Our goals include bringing more new people into our fold.
The Finals competition will be conducted by in-place judging inside the 80,000 sq. ft. of Independence Hall. We can host about 160 cars comfortably in the hall so it is very important to send in your application early. The ceiling height clearance is 9.5 feet. Please let us know if your vehicle height is an issue. We plan to feature your cars in a car show fashion and group them by division and power class. This makes it a better exhibition and we encourage you to show off your installation throughout the competition; to leave you car open whenever possible so that the spectators and other enthusiasts who come to the show can appreciate all that you have done to create a competition worthy system.
Along with the Soundoff competition, we will host a “Tuner Jam” Car Show competition that you are invited to compete in. If you enter the Tuner Jam, the judges will come to your place in the Soundoff Arena. It is our plan to host the cars in the judging arena all weekend, however, for those who must take their cars out on Saturday night; they may do so, but must return Sunday morning at the pre-designated time.
IASCA remains the standard by which great mobile electronics systems are measured. The Finals is, was and always will be the pinnacle of Autosound competition. We are gathering the most experienced judges and pulling out all the stops to make sure you have a great time. I look forward to your participation and hope to meet you personally at the Finals.
