i was thinking of installing a cdt 8" sub in my rear deck to help with some midbass . but i am wondering if the location would give me bad results . also i have a 15" brahma in the trunk , would i get any canclation ? let me know what you think , and i am open to suggestions . thanks .

I like putting the driver up front as far as possible, you won't get cans. but you will get all the bass in back and I like mine up front

If installed properly it can sound great. I'm going to have two 8" JL 8ib4s in my rear deck running free air.
Depending on what you mean by "helping" with midbass, you may get what spydermann is talking about and that is having all your bass seeming like it is coming from the rear of your vehicle. I think if you keep it crossed over low enough it should still sound great.

i was thinking 3 10" power hx2s to match my punch 18hx2s...the 18s go SUPER low but i need some HZ above 50!! would 3 10power hx2 10s in my rear deck in a small enclosure smooth out the 18s? it is a honda civic, and i BARELY have room but i think i can do it. but how do you think it will sound?
