Sorry, forgot to ask. I also need to order the midbasses. Didn't ask before about them because I was sure that I am done with my choise. I was going to buy Focal 6K4411 drivers. Having listened to them a bit more I think I have to look also at other drivers that can provide a better midbass in a range of 50(60)Hz-200Hz. The bottomline in the enclosure size. They are going to be located in the doors (low front corners) so anything 6"-7" will fit. But the enclosure is a problem: either about 5-6 liters sealed or vented, or the entire door sealed as good as possible with dynamat. They must also match the rest of the system: Focal Audiom TLR tweeters, Focal Audiom 7K2 mids, Velo sub.
There is a topic with the related question asked a bit earlier but it covers 4" midbass/midrange speakers so please do not refer to it.
Thanks in advance. Best regards, Fred

Fred, since you've got Focal for the rest of your front end, find you a set of 5KX Subs. 5" subs that rock! Put them in small boxes (.18f3) vented, tuned to 43hz, and you will love life, I guarantee it! Play them from 20-200 using a 18dB active on the low pass, this will help blend them in better.

If it dont fit, force it... if it breaks, it needed to be replaced anyway...

You know all the brands, but I've always liked the Orion and Kappa series. Vega's always good for inexpensive bass. MTX 3k or 5K 8" might work (too big?). Orion XTR are offered in 6.5 and 8" models and Kappa in 5.25 and 6.5 (Beta if you can find them!!) Oh yah, take a look at Parts Express (partsexpress.com), they carry Morel, Dynaudio, and quite a few others too (not always the top brand).
Much luck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
