Term-LAB includes a cool new feature that will allow you to capture and store images to your hard drive whenever you press the "Record Score" button during competition.
1. Attach a USB camera to your computer and verify that it is installed properly. 2. Run Term-LAB. 3. Click on the hardware tab and then click on Multimedia. 4. Select your camera from the Video Device combo box. 5. Click on the Connect button. 6. Select the appropriate resolution. I suggest 640x480 or larger. 7. Press the Preview On button to see what the camera is showing. Adjust the camera and then press Preview Off. 8. Enter a name in the Capture File Name Prefix text box. This name will be appended to the file name for all pictures that are taken. I would highly recommend a unique name for each event that you do. For example, at Spring Break Nationals, I will use something like "SBN". 9. Click on the Auto Capture Enable checkbox. 10. Run your contest normally. After you make a run, a photo will be taken each time you Record the scores. The name of the photo will increment automatically. Photos are stored in the Pictures folder (under Term-LAB). For example, my file names will be SBN001.jpg, SBN002.jpg, SBN003.jpg and so on. 11. An index file (SBN.txt) will also be created. This file contains a list of all of the SBN photos as well as the time, date, and who was actually competing when the photo was taken.)
