All Term-LAB meters must be activated prior to use. (This is typically a one-time procedure.)
The first time you run the Term-LAB software, you will receive a message stating that the meter needs to be activated.
When you press the OK button, a window asking for the Activation Code will be displayed.
Please note the Serial Number displayed on this window. You will need this number to obtain your Activation Code. In the example above, the Serial Number is 0000000000.
To activate your Term-LAB meter, please use the following procedure.
Identify your Term-LAB Serial Number. (Described above.)
Select "Register" from the Term-LAB Menu. Registration is a process where you enter your customer information. When you complete the registration process, a temporary password will be emailed to you. Please note that we do not share registration information with anyone.
After you receive your password, you will be able to Log In and access features in the Members menu. (If you don't receive an email within 1 hour, either you or your Internet Service Provider may be blocking our emails. Please refer to the following article for assistance... Help! - I didn't receive a password!
Select "Activate Meter" from the Members menu. (You may be asked to Log In.) Enter your Term-LAB Serial Number in the Serial Number field. When you click on the "Activate Meter" button, another screen showing your Activation Code will be displayed.
Use this Activation Code to Activate your Term-LAB Meter.
IMPORTANT
Do NOT register more than once. If you don't receive an automated email from the website within one hour, please refer to the following article... Help! - I didn't receive a password!
The Term-LAB Serial Number is always displayed on the screen. Do NOT use any other numbers (such as those found on the bottom of the interface box or on shipping box). These numbers are NOT the required Serial Number.
