Thinking about grabbing a cheap laptop to keep in the garage...lugging the desktop out there isn't fun!

Although the min req's are pretty low...I'd like to know how it runs in real world situations on CPU's in the 200-300mhz area. I've heard "if it can run XP, it can run the tlab"...but XP is a serious resource hog...and i'm worried that it may take up too much to make the tlab proggy run at a decent speed.

Any first hand experience here? [Smile]

Some buddies of mine run it off a P166, 32Mb RAM & Windows 98 without a problem. Hope that helps.

The version they are running must be pretty old because Term-LAB hasn't been compatible with Win 9x for quite some time.

i got it to run on a little 240mhz & 32mb ram(or there abouts) laptop...i tried for ages to get it to work on '98 but failed, so just installed 2k pro onto it. it runs fine, but takes ages for the computer to start up.
