It won't let me make changes in Hardware configuration, to the spl sensor because it says their is a event in progress, how do I change this or cancel it, also how do I get updates, I tried and it said not available, also in order to do more than just the SPL feature, like db drag racing, and bass race do I need a event promotor pack or what, just curious I'm kinda new to having my own meter, any help would be appricated thanks.

find which event is open and go to scorekeeping options and choose start new event or debracket whatever event is open and that should do it.
