I have heard of other competitors using longer cables with no problems. You must be very careful when making cables or using cables that did not come with Term-LAB. You especially need to make sure that the cables are standard CAT5 (cat5e) ethernet cables. If you use a "crossover" cable, it will ruin your sensor.

They were both Standard Cat 6, Ordered from Newegg. Same cables I use every day for Network connections.

I wire alot of homes for audio and automation, You might have the right cable cat5e but there are 2 ways to wire the plug A and B make sure you have the right way.

The standard in which most all patch cords are terminated is 568b. You should have no data loss or fluctuation up to 100m which translates to 330 feet from end of patch cord to end of patch cord.
so if your looking at the end of the patch cable you should see white orange/orange/white green/blue/white blue/green/white brown/brown.

I ran two different lengths of cable one is standard with the TL box and the other is 75 , it meters fine but at low volums it has a total different resistance for bass race
