Wayne i got my box today and tryed it out and i do not get the code 5 any more but the meter works for 2sec and then it stops. The status light blinks for that 2 sec and the it gose out and then back on but dose not blink. I have delted it all and then reinstalled it. still not working.

My guess is that the USB chipset on your MB is incompatible. You should try another USB card.

this is what i have for usb standard enhanced pci to usb host controller. anf i did try a new usb cord
