HELP HELP....okay I have the updates already done..so thats not my problem....When I run the tp in any form a few secound not even that goes by and a error message comes up and says error 5 call to argument and it lock the tp program up.....so whats wrong with this thing HELP...thanks for any help........p.s.could this be a problem with the usb itself and yes I have windows xp....

It sounds like you are running a version of Term-LAB prior to 4.5.25. Select Help / About to determine what version of the program you are running.

If you are using 4.5.25. I need to know more.

What mode are you in? (SPL, dBDRAG, NSPL, USACI)

Do you just receive this error when you try to run Term-LAB?

What OS are you running? Term-LAB will only work with XP and 2000.

Yes I have that 4.5.25
Yes in all modes every one
can turn on term pro receive the error only when I hit start to measure the spl. only after that it will happen in any mode too.
Yes using Windows XP and my desktop is too and my friends is too so its not the laptop
...do u think it might be that white box itself thats the problem. somthin wrong inside it mabye...... please help this is giving me a really big headache really 600 bucks worth

It is highly unlikely that the interface box is bad. Each unit is tested prior to shipping and we haven't had any units come back for repair.

Make sure that the Windows regional settings are set to USA.

Also, make sure that your USB chipset is not manufactured by ALI or SIS. (Please see the troubleshooting thread for more details.)

Yes its in the USA setting english..the USB is not either one of them..I have a dell computer if that helps........and I follow the usb trouble shooting...I replace the usb cord to the white box and the cord that goes to the sensor itself...it still does it

Okay I tried on a few computers now and still get the same thing...Its coming back to u so u can look at it and make sure theirs nothin wrong with it
